Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It is not over until the fat lady sings :) You can still donate to this worthwhile cause. I really appreciate your support especially given that despite having the determination of an international athlete, I seem to have been blessed with limited natural talent for distance running. I have chosen this charity because through teaching beekeeping in developing countries, Bees for Development give families living on the breadline a sustainable source of income in order to feed their families. This means that your money continues to do good for years after you have donated it.

I have given up alcohol since October and am training hard and avoiding cake. I know. I can hardly believe it myself. I am significantly less chubby. Despite this the race did not go as well as planned. It took me 7 hours 2 minutes and 42 seconds to run the course - and that was running all the way. It was very, very hot!!!!

There was some unpleasant chaffing and my muscles were a bit sore. Thank you to all of you for your donations and to those of you who were there to support on the day. I really appreciate.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Big Thank YOU!!!

Karin
