I am running the Wilmslow Half Marathon on 24th March 2013 and I am doing Cheshire Cycletta (37km bike ride) on 12th May 2013. This is in memory of a friend's lovely little boy, Ollie Hiscutt, who sadly lost his life 15 days short of his 3rd birthday as a result of an invasive Strep A throat infection. His Mum & Dad, Julie & Dave, have set about raising money for Wythenshawe Hospital Starlight Children's ward in the hope that one day it may save another child's life. Their target is to raise £24,000 to equip each bed with a blood saturation monitor, they are currently at 41% of their target.
