We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 17th-18th november 2012 myself (Karl baxter) and a friend of mine (Aaron butler) are going to attempt one hell of tough obstacle course in cheshire which is north-west england called "Tough mudder". Now this course is basically a mix between iron man and half a marathon, it consists of running between 10-12 miles and completing 25 extremly challenging obstacles! For more info and a video of what we will be completing please take some time to look at the "tough mudder" website.....Toughmudder.com.

We are both doing this "tough Mudder" in aid of ABF (army benevolent fund - the soldiers charity) as we are both still serving members of the forces and know what a big impact this charity has on the lives of troubled soilders and there familys.

ABF have been providing support for our soldiers, former soldiers and their families for over 65 years and remain the principal soldiers charity. They currently help over 4,000 people a year. With your contribution this will directly affect the lifetime support that is given by this charity. We both hope however much we raise that it will make a difference to the men and women who have protected and still protect our country.

I hope that we can both achieve our target of raising above and beyond £3,000 by Novemeber 2012.
