My father in law was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010. He was told that his cancer was aggressive and was advised to have a radical prostatectomy. Unfortunately after this surgery he was told that the cancer had not all been removed. He has since undergone radiotherapy and he continues to fight this disease with much bravery. 

I’ve witnessed and experienced the pain and despair that prostate cancer causes to not only the person who has the condition but also their family and friends. For this reason I want to raise as much money as possible so that I can play my part in the fight against prostate cancer. This ride is going to be gruelling but I’ll do it, not only for my father in law but for the 1 in 8 men who’s lives are turned upside down by this awful disease
