Story

If you are looking at this page there is a good chance that you know me. If not, I served with the Parachute Regiment from 1988 - 2001 as a member of 3 Para and the Red Devils. Back then I was known as Karl 'Kenny' Everitt.

As I am getting on a bit now, the trousers are getting a bit tighter with the belly getting a bit bigger, I have decided to run the Bath Half Marathon on 11 March 2012. While I am running it I may as well try and raise a few bob for a worthwhile cause that is quite close to home for many of you.

The Parachute Regiment Charity was established to support soldiers of the Parachute Regiment and other Airborne Forces and their families.

Their objectives are:

(1) the promotion of efficiency of The Parachute Regiment;
(2) the relief of need, hardship and distress amongst past and present members of The Parachute Regiment and their dependents
(3) the promotion and maintenance of the heritage of The Parachute Regiment.

So, for those of you with short arms and long pockets please dig deep. It will be appreciated by those that really need it.
