Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 1997, my father passed away after suffering from prostate cancer and leukaemia. My dad is remembered for his distinct moustache so I have decided that as part of the Movember campaign, I plan to run every day in November, wearing a moustache (something unique for a woman to do!) - just like my father used to.

I've scoured online shopping websites and secured some amazing moustaches - and every day in Movember, I'll be wearing one as I run distances short and long.

This will be a challenge for me not just because I will have to wear a moustache (something that definietly does not come naturally for me), but also as the days are getting shorter, the rain is getting heavier and the desire to stay in bed is getting stronger.

But rain, hail or shine, the moustache will make an appearance and I will be running. If you want to join me on any day in Movember to show your support for this important organisation, make sure to let me know - I'd love to have you join me (and happy to share my moustaches!).
