Story

Not content with playing with fire on a regular basis, I'm now going to be walking on it on Burns Night. Erm, I'm hoping that the Burns will just manifest as poetic descriptions of centuries gone by, as opposed to horrifically burned feet.

If you donate you can come along and watch too... I'll be in St Enoch Square on January 25th and there's going to be firedancers and bagpipers. Should be awesomeness indeed and the fire will keep us all warm.

This is your chance to support a cause that needs it too. I've been hugely impressed with seeing the people who work/volunteer for ENABLE deal with the snowpocalypse in such an altruistic and compassionate way. Without questioning it, support workers stayed with people with severe disabilities in their homes for days on end rather than leave them without care and company. I'd say it was incredibly professional, but I think it goes way beyond that. And we're only helping around 1,200 of the 240,000 people in Scotland who have a learning disability. For the charity to grow it needs support - that's why I work my ass off on a daily basis and hurl myself at challenges like this one whenever I can.

Call it a festive pint, or a Christmas present, or a one off donation - but if you can, DONATE SOMETHING!
