I have now completed my attempted 60 hour silence, finishing at 10.30am on Wednesday 21st October. There was one mistake 14 hours in so I started again, making my total just under 75 hours with one utterance that whole time!

I'd be very grateful to receive your donation to the two charities I'm supporting (ENABLE Scotland and The Big Noise) and I can now thank you verbally. You can watch the video here of me breaking the silence and hearing my own voice for the first time in four days.

The cash is going half and half to the excellent Big Noise (music projects for children in deprived communities) and half to ENABLE Scotland (they have to deal with my chatting skills every day, they deserve every penny!). Be generous!
