Virgin London Marathon 2016 · 24 April 2016 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am delighted to be running the London Marathon in 2016 for NSPCC.  It has been a long standing ambition of mine to run a marathon as many of you will have heard me say!  As a born and bred Londoner it couldn't have been anywhere else.

I have been supporting the NSPCC for over a decade and am proud to be raising money for their Schools Programme as part of the Credit Suisse UK Charity of the Year partnership.  The research tells us that on average two children in every primary school class in the country are abused and/or neglected.  The NSPCC ambitious aim is to ensure that no child is in the position.  The Schools Programme will be delivered to every primary school child twice before they are 11 years old ensuring that all children have the knowledge to speak out and stay safe.

Thank you for joining me in supporting this incredible opportunity to change the future for the next generations.
