Switchback is an award-winning charity helping young Londoners to find a way out of the justice system. We provide intensive 1-to-1 support either side of the prison gate alongside real-work training after release, supporting 18-30 year-old men to make real-lasting change and build stable lives.

Story

In January next year Nic Verbij and I are undertaking the challenge to cycle from Bangkok to Shanghai. This will be an epic trek of around 5000 miles in 5 months, taking us through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and China. The aim is to raise as much money for the charity Switchback as possible so please show your support and donate now, every pound is hugely appreciated!

Run by Alice Dawnay and Slaney Wright, Switchback gives 18-24 year old offenders the professional training and intensive mentoring they need to break the cycle of crime and build positive futures.  It is an extremely practical and effective approach which helps these guys fulfil their potential while re-offending rates have been shown to be a third lower than the national average. Please help them to a brighter future by donating now.

For more information please visit their website at www.switchback.org.uk.

Thanks for your contribution and please keep in touch - planning to set up a blog which I hope will be a one-stop page for chat, stories and moral support. xxx
