Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. It robs people of the ability to speak, move and breathe.

Unfortunately, there is no cure for MND. But the MNDA's work is vital.

"We will do all that we can to enable everybody living with MND to receive the best care, achieve the highest possible quality of life and to die with dignity." (MNDA, 2015)

So, I've decided to take on the Bath Half Marathon. Although I have always been a lover of sport, running, I must admit, has not been one of my closest allies in past years. However, running for MND continues to remind to do while you still can! After all, its a mere inconvenience in comparison to what  MND sufferers and their families have to contest with.
