We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Although the three of us all run socially these runs are usually much shorter! Running a half marathon will be a real physical challenge for all of us.  We are running in memory of Fin Church who was an amazing child.  He was cruelly taken away by a high grade brain tumour and died at just 11 years old on 25th November 2015 after battling for 17 months.

Fin was a tireless campaigner for raising money and the profile of Brain Tumour Research and raised over 100k for the charity. Please visit https://www.justgiving.com/companyteams/finlaysjourney for more details.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40; more than any other cancer. Yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research is allocated to this disease. They are the only national charity in the UK funding sustainable and continuous research into brain tumours.
