Take a look at what Renewable World do. Their work is entirely relevent and an essentail lifeline to many of the poorest people around the world. We take a lot, such as energy and clean water for granted (me included) but it's the work that these guys are doing which has made me want to run a marathon....that's 42.194km....essentially running from Liverpool to Manchester?! 

The more I think about it, the further it seems. But i'm confident with my cross-country days behind me I can shake off the shackels of MSc life and put on my shiny new running shoes, in which I aim raise at least £500 for this awesome cause.
