I know I've done London to Paris once before (I didn't ask anyone for cash that time though!) but I'm doing it again with a team from work in hope of raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, a charity very close to our hearts.

Not only will be cycling from London to Paris, we're also pushing ourselves further by setting off from our office in Bath the day before the event and riding the 120miles to the start. Gulp.

For anyone that knows me well, you'll know that fitness isn't something that comes naturally to me and my clumsiness makes cycling more hazardous for me than for the average joe. I have, in fact, been off the bike for a good few months following the latest crash that knocked my confidence. However, those who are battling breast cancer have a lot more to overcome than a fear of falling off a bike so I'll be riding again and covering around 440 miles in total.

Please dig deep and help us reach our target, you'll be doing more than you'll ever know to help Breakthrough raise awarenss of and support those affected by the illness.
