Bath Half Marathon 2012 · 11 March 2012 ·

The Bujagali Trust supports educational projects in Uganda, East Africa. It has developed and now runs a nursery; it supports students in primary and secondary education; and is developing a vocational school. This will equip young people with practical, business and educational skills that can be used throughout the children's lives.

Story

Who Am I Fundraising For? This summer I am travelling to Jinja in Uganda, for one month to help teach and care for children less fortunate than myself. I am raising money for the Bujugali Trust, who sponsor the school and orphange that I will be travelling to. This is a non-profit organisation and money raised goes entirely towards the children's well being.

How Am I Intending To Raise Money? On May 13th I will be running the the Leeds Half Marathon, and on the 27th May I will be running the Sheffield Half Marathon. There will also be a coffee morning in the future.

What will sponsoring do to help? Sponsoring me means that the charity will be able to provide simple items that we take for granted like books for the school, and milk for the children in the orphange. The money will go directly to the Bujugali Trust and the children in Uganda. Please give generously, its a wonderful cause and your money really will make a simple difference. Thank you!
