Story

Although as many people would testify i said "NEVER AGAIN!!" I will be running again this year for CLIMB, I will be taking part in the Hull and Beverley 10kms, a further 5km run in Beverley and then finishing off the year with the Great North run in September - 13.1 miles.... (eeek!)

My nephew will once again be joining me for all but the GNR and my sister for the Hull 10km.

I'm not a runner - I don't like running but I am doing it for a charity very close to my heart.

"I run because i can. When i get tired, I remember those who can't run, what they'd give to have this simple gift i take for granted, and i run harder for them. I know they would do the same for me"

In the last year Climb supported more than 7,500 families who were affected by a wide range of over 700+ different metabolic diseases. The charity also provides long-term support from diagnosis to care for all those affected by inherited metabolic diseases - from young people through transition, and from paediatric to adult care services they offer continued support throughout childhood to adulthood. The charity also provides vital information on metabolic disease to children, adults, families and professionals.
