3 Peaks Challenge · 24 July 2010

Llanberis MRT is one of the busiest in the UK with an annual callout rate of over 220 incidents. Based in and around the Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) area the team is made up of about 50 volunteers who are all experienced mountaineers. As a registered charity we rely entirely on your donations.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing the 3 Peaks in memory of my Grandpa, who unfortunately died of a heart attack whilst on a climbing trip at Snowdon.  The mountain rescue team who helped bring him back down the mountain were fantastic.

This is a personal pilgrimage for me to see Snowdon for myself, but I thought, why not support the people who help numerous people the mountain every year.

The mountain rescue team is made completely of volunteers and need donations to help keep there service running with the equipment they need.

Please give as generously as you can.

Thanks,

Kate

PS I'll be the one hobbling on Monday!
