Kate Laura Higgins is raising money for Irish Cancer Society
Story
On 10th December 2016 I am going to sweat my ass off to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society. As part of the FFS Stands Up to Cancer, I will complete a shared 1.5km 50kg sled drag. For anyone who has tried this before - you know how tough it is! Please help me hit my goal of €500 to help kick cancer in the face.
Cancer is something that has affected almost every one of us at some point in our lives. For the staff at FFS this topic is particularly close to home.
This is why we have decided to make our biggest push ever to support a charity. We have set ourselves the goal to raise €50,000 for the Irish Cancer Society this side of Christmas.
To support the great work that the people in the Irish Cancer Society do on a daily basis and to fight the disease that has affected so many of our lives we need your help.
Throughout this campaign we will aim to shine some positivity through by highlight some peoples positive stories on how we can beat cancer. If you have such a story... please please share it with us, you don't understand the positive impact that it could have on someone in a time of need for hope and optimism.
