Save the Children exists to help every child reach their full potential. In the UK and around the world, we make sure children stay safe, healthy and keep learning, so they can become who they want to be. Your donation will help vulnerable children wherever the need is greatest.

Story

Kate and Pete are attempting the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 25th July. The Challenge is to do the 25 mile walk in 12 hours - what makes it hard is having to climb Ingleborough (2372 ft), Pen-y-Ghent (2277ft) and Whernside (2415 ft) on the way. Total ascent is 5434 ft (1656 m).

We are raising money for Save the Children in support of their work responding to emergencies, such as the Nepal earthquake and the Ebola crisis, but also to support their other goals of fighting for children's rights and helping them to fulfil their potential.
