St Barnabas House is a hospice based in Worthing which provides palliative care to adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families, both at the hospice and in the comfort of their own home.

Story

On 26th May 2012 I will celebrate my 50th Birthday thousands of miles away from family and friends, trying to make a real difference by helping to fundraise for St Barnabas House in Worthing, West Sussex. St Barnabas House is an independant charitable hospice providing specialist palliative care for patients, as well as vitally important support for their families.

So from 18th to 27th May 2012, I will be taking part in a group trek conquering the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, up to 4200m high in the Andes Mountains of Peru. We aim to raise £56,000 which pays for a whole month of care in four patient rooms at St Barnabas House.

Huge thanks to Rob for encouraging me to take on this challenge and for his wonderful support and also to Jon, Amy, Ella and Lucy - love you all!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for visiting my Justgiving page and sponsoring my challenge.
