In June 2014 I will be attempting to conquer the three tallest mountains in Britain: Ben Nevis in Western Scotland (4,409 ft), Scafell Pike in the Lake District (3,209 ft) and Snowdon in North Wales (3,560 ft). That's a total of 11,178 ft and 415 miles of driving... all to be completed within 24 hours!

My current state of fitness and (slightly excessive) smoking habits mean that this is an especially enormous challenge. And, as my mother reminded me, you can't roll cigarettes whilst climbing a mountain! But don't fear, I will be hitting the gym and going on several practise hikes in preparation for my transformation into mountain goat equivalent. Failure will not be contemplated! 

I am fundraising for a fantastic cause - The Yorkshire Cancer Centre Appeal, who work to improve cancer outcomes for patients throughout Yorkshire.
