At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hi folks!

I'm doing this skydive - tandem dive from 10,000 feet - to raise money for Alzheimer's Society. They support people with all kinds of dementia, providing support for sufferers and their carers, and performing much-needed research into the causes of dementia. £100 can pay for a brain scan for a participant in a clinical trial - and just £12.50 would fund a call to the Alzheimer's helpline.

My granny suffers from dementia, and I know what a difficult condition it can be to cope with - for the sufferer themselves and for everyone around them. There are currently 750,000 sufferers in the UK and the stats predict that by 2025 there will be over a million.

So if you can, do help by contributing to this worthy cause.

Many thanks!

Kate
