At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Why am I doing this crazy bike ride!?.....well many reasons really! To start with cycling is the only exercise I have been able to do for a long time since my shoulder problems, so I have been forced to love it!

I have always wanted to take on a serious challenge and this is pretty tough, plus Arden will not shut up until I have done this with him! Arden "How hard can it be?"....Me "Really hard!"

In additon to all of this four years ago my Nannan sadly passed away after suffering with Alzheimer's, and my other Grandmother is beginning to show signs of Alzheimers. It is such a horrible disease which can affect lots of people, including families and carers. We still know very little about it and research is ongoing to try and find a cure and prevention, hence every donation is important.

As I have been stupid enough to agree to be THE ONLY girl doing this challenge, please give me an extra boost to help with the pain! You can follow my pain on http://mhpjogle.wordpress.com
