My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 11th March, I am running the Bath Half Marathon in support of Jamie's Farm. I will be running dressed as a farm animal (suggestions welcome - I will run dressed as the animal that gets the most votes).
I am running for Jamie's Farm because I wholeheartedly believe in what they do. Jamie’s Farm exists to transform the lives of vulnerable children in challenging urban schools, by providing a unique combination of ‘farming, family and therapy’ through a short stay residential and follow up programme. They aim to re-engage children with educational life, and enable them to fulfil their potential both in school and the wider social setting.
You can read more about Jamie's Farm here: http://www.jamiesfarm.org.uk/index.html
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. Both Jamie's Farm and I will be so very very grateful.
We'd love to see you on the day - so if you fancy a trip to beautiful Bath and to see a load of farm animals running 13.2 miles, put Sunday March 11th in the diary!
Thank you so much,
Kate :)
