On 21st April 2013 my husband Steve and I are leaving the UK to drive a truck to Mongolia in aid of charity.  We have bought and will donate the vehicle for free and we also pay for all the travel costs incurred in taking the vehicle the 10,000 miles or so across deserts, rivers and whatever else Asia throws at us. 

The vehicle will be donated to the charity called Go Help (www.gohelp.org.uk).  Go Help operates Charity Rallies, an event platform which fundraises for charitable projects in Mongolia and Tajikistan by challenging people to undertake incredible adventures.  These include the Mongolia Charity Rally, in which teams drive from Central London to Ulaanbaatar by any route they choose using vehicles of their choice, which are then donated by Go Help or used in its charity projects.

However, in addition to donating a vehicle we are trying to raise £1,000 to give to Go Help to help with their projects.  On 23rd February I am having my head shaved in our home town of Princes Risborough to raise money for this so please donate to support me!
