UPDATE

WE DID IT......

On what seemed like the hottest day of the year we survived our 13 miles around Windsor Great Park.  It seemed a very long way at times but we both finished in 2 hours, 22 minutes and 27 seconds! 

Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored us.  It really kept us going and we definitely needed your incentive on some nasty hills between miles 8-11.

Having not run for about 20 years and being lulled into a false sense of security by the word "half",  we decided to set ourselves a goal and run the Windsor half marathon.   4 months later the day is nearly upon us and having found out just how far 13 miles feels as you pound the roads we would love to raise some money for a fantastic charity. 

UCARE is a charity that our family has many connections with and they do some great work.  We would love you to sponsor us, especially given that we have both decided that we dislike running and will never do another one!
