Story

On Sunday 10th April I am going to be running the Brighton Marathon, raising money for a great cause, and going through 26 miles of pain !

Why am I raising money for Brain Tumour Research...

On the 19th of August 2009 our friend's son, Taylan, passed away at the age of 7. He had been diagnosed with a very rare and inoperable brain tumour the previous year.

His parents, Andy and Figen, have founded Taylan's Project http://www.taylansproject.com/ and are now fundraising for http://www.braintumourresearch.org/ to raise awareness and much needed funds. In the UK more children and people under the age of 40 die of a brain tumour than any other cancer however research into brain tumours receives less than 1% of the national spend on cancer research.
