It was an amazing experience and I feel blessed to have taken part in the 2012 London Marathon. Thank you SO much for all of your help, support and of course donations to this very special charity. It was meant to be a cloudy and not too hot day, instead it was incredibly warm and sunny as Charlotte and I pounded 20 miles along the coast from Old Leigh through Southend up to Shoebury Ness. Another long run planned for tomorrow...

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am excited but terrified about running my first full marathon, but knowing that you are supporting me through sponsorship, and knowing that I am raising money that will make a huge difference to children in East Africa who start life with very little, is just the spur that I need to keep on running.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much for your support, and please keep telling me that I have just got to run 1 mile, 26 times! Kath
