Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So, as many of you know, Tanya and I have decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in September and yes, I will have a back pack and......wait for it........ be staying in a tent!!

Since this is my worst nightmare, I decided that I'd better make staying in a tent worthwhile so what better way to do that than raise some much needed funds for charity. And to make sure that you all dig deep, I promise that I will ensure that there is a photo of me settled in my tent and the prize for the highest bidder is that I will get this framed for your mantlepiece - it will be a collector's item I promise!

The charity I have chosen is Bury Hospice which delivers very special nursing and medical care to local men and women who are living with a life-threatening or terminal illness whilst supporting their families and carers.

Bury is my home town and my Mum is on the fundraising committee so I appreciate how in need of funds they are, what great work they do and also how hard all the other fundraisers work in order to make sure it has the financial support it needs.

So, please help me raise funds for this great cause and you have my solemn promise that I won't at any point in the future run any marathons or climb any more mountains!
