We are raising money for Sands - The Stillbirth and Neonatal Death charity, which promotes research to reduce the loss of babies' lives. It also provides vitally important emotional and practical support to families who have had their lives literally turned upside down by the tragic deaths of their babies. 

Sands has worked tirelessly with health professionals to revolutionise the care that bereaved families receive in hospital and has fundamentally changed the way in which bereaved parents and their babies are cared for.

To raise money we will be taking part in The Big Fun Run (5k) on 25th September in Victoria Park, London. Please donate if you can. With your support we really will make a difference.

We are supporting Sands because on the 18th July 2009 our beautiful baby boy, Henry died for no apparent reason. He was about to be born and he was 10 days overdue.

That day Henry was one of around 17 precious babies who died in the UK. This means that in this country alone well over 6,000 babies die every year. It also means there are a lot of families out there who really need vital support from Sands.
