So, after much pressure I have been convinced to swop my usual roll of groom/anxious parent at BE events for one of participant! Not sure my daughter is amused, but she has been so inspired by Hannah's increadible bravery and strength that she understands it's all in a good cause - and she will be able to have a laugh at my expense!

This means that Barney and I will have to get serious over the winter - less larking about in the hunting field and more learning to ride properly ..... and I'll have to see if I can remember my way around a course of showjumps! As for XC, I'm just hoping Barney will look after me!
