I am attempting to run my first half marathon, as part of "Team Tom" running in memory of Tom Coupe, a secondary school pupil who tragically and suddenly passed away last year.  

As a team we are raising funds for Martin House, who have provided vital support to the family, and the RNLI, which Tom was very fond of. 

Any donations will certainly help motivate me to keep running, and, who knows - maybe I'll actually manage to run the whole 13miles!?!  It's not an easy challenge for me, but I'm honoured to put myself to the test for such an amazing cause. 

Martin House supports children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across West, North and East Yorkshire. Our vision is that every child and young person has access to palliative care when and where they need it.
