Hello & welcome to my JustGiving page!!!

 

I'm cycling 400km across Kenya to raise money for three cancer charities: Breast Cancer Care, Joe's Trust (Cervical Cancer), and Ovarian Cancer Care. I’ll be cycling the The Rift Valley, which shears through Kenya from Lake Turkana in the north to Lake Magadi in the south, crossing from inhospitable desert through fertile farming country and back to desert. I've cycled 50-mile and 90-mile rides before, but nothing as challenging or beautiful as Kenya.

 

What makes this even more of a challenge for me is that I have a nerve problem called Maralgia Paresthetica, meaning that I have no surface feeling/sensation in my right leg (but instead a constant burning pain). That said, I love a challenge, the ride is for a great cause & I'm not going to give up for anything!
