Story

Launch mission impossible...

Just over a month ago now, a girl called Katia passed away. She'd had leukaemia for 4 years and eventually couldn't fight it anymore. She was my bestfriend, as well as being my personal hero.

Ira, Katia's mum has been raising money by baking amazing cakes, one in the shape of our church! I stand in awe! And is also running 10 miles on Kat's birthday, 19th February. So far she's raised about £500, a definite superwoman if ever there was one!

As a result of all this, I've got it into my head to somehow do the Liverpool half marathon (still able to walk hopefully) to raise money for CLIC Sargent. This takes place March 18th. I'm currently trying to forget about the 13.1 miles involved!

CLIC Sargent help children and thier families, who suffer from cancer. They are there during and after the treatment. They're a really amazing charity who were there when Kat was ill. Currently though they get to 2 of 3 families who need their help.

Please don't feel obliged to donate but if you do want to it's really easy to online here.

Thank you everybody!

I'm now getting so excited people are donating... this seems real all of a sudden. Thank you!!

WOW, so donations just hit double figures :D That's just made my year. Thank you everyone!
