Story

A 7.3 magnitude quake hit Nepal today (12th May), just two weeks after the 7.8 one you've probably heard about. Please please donate whatever you can, either through the big charities or direct to the charity in the rural region I volunteered in (where global funds probably won't reach) https://www.justgiving.com/teams/CUHELPNepal Nepali sathi, my thoughts are with you and I hope you are safe.

Thank you for visiting my page! On Tuesday 24th June I am flying to Nepal for a month to volunteer teaching English in a rural school in the village of Gunsa, in the Helambu region. I'm already gathering up teaching materials like picture books, props for teaching vocab e.g. old clothing, and stickers - but I would also love to raise some funds to buy some more permanent resources for the school in Gunsa!

Please help me provide for the better education of the children I am going to be teaching - all money goes straight to the school, for resources in the school and training and employing teachers. My volunteering visit is through the NGO HELP (Helambu Education and Livelihood Project) and this page is linked to its UK partner Mondo Challenge foundation.
