Dear family and friends,

Next year is going to be my personal Olympic year as I have decided to run the Virgin London Marathon on April 22nd 2012. I have been lucky to secure one of the ninty two Golden Bond places out of two hundred and thirty applicants, to run for Diabetes UK. This is not only a great honor but a massive personal challenge for me which I am determind to achieve. I have been training since June this year and in five months I am now running ten miles, having never run before in my life. I have another six months to reach my goal of twenty six miles!

 I am asking you to kindly sponsor me to help support Diabetes UK. The money raised will go towards the continuing reasearch in finding a cure and making life safer and more comfortable for those who are inflicted with this relentless ever increasing disease.  As you can well imagine this is a charity very dear to my heart.
