Afasic represents children and young adults with speech and language impairments, their parents and carers. Afasic operates a UK wide telephone helpline and produces information and literature for parents and professionals. It organises workshops, conferences and seminars and has field officers and local groups for parent support.

I am hoping to raise money for Afasic, a charity that helps children and young people affected by the hidden disability of speech and language impairments, working for their inclusion in society and supporting their parents and carers. Across the UK there are over 1 million children and young people affected by speech and language impairments. Afasic is the only UK organisation providing help, information and support for these children, young people and their families.
