I'm raising money for The Rainbow Centre for Children by running  the Bath Half Marathon in March 2010 http://www.rainbowcentre.org.uk/  The Rainbow Centre provides free and professional support to children and their families affected by bereavement, life threatening illness and cancer. Please visit the website for information about their amazing service, which they provide free to families and for as long as the family needs.

I wanted to run a half marathon and now I've found out about The Rainbow Centre, I want to even more. I'd like to raise £200 and all contributions would be very welcome, however big or small.

The picture on my picture page is of my new lovely trainers which I bought in Easy Runner in Bristol, where they do gait analysis and find you the best pair, I highly recommend them, very friendly people! Training is going very well, I ran 12 miles a few weekends ago and now run three times a week, two short runs of 4 or 5 miles then a long run, there is much more incentive when you're trying to raise money!
