What's involved?

Starter: 19 mile mountain bike ride

Main course: 2 mile open canoe

Dessert: 8 mile run.

It's supposed to be a fun way of raising money and awareness for the chosen charity, but it is called a Challenge for a reason!

Wessex Heartbeat was founded in 1992 to support the Wessex Cardiac Centre and since then have raise £1.3million thanks to the generosity of people like you :-) This has helped improved caridac care for 20,000 people including over 1000 children who visit each each year, supporting (for example): purchase of specialist equipment, ward refurbishment and paediatricc ambulance privision and revolutionary Babypod.

There is always a need to do more and we need your help to continue their vital work in the community and develop new facilities for teenagers and young adults, a new theatre with specialist equipment for new born babies and vulnerable young people.

Your help, no matter how small - will help improve cardiac care and save lives.
