"Let's raise our voices and tell the world that rape is never, ever OK,"
The sad thing is most of us know someone who has been the victim of sexual violence, wether they're a friend, a mother, a sister or a relative it affects all of us.
By sponsoring me or even joining us in the march you'll be sending a message it doesn't matter what someone is wearing, it doesn't matter what they've had to drink, it doesn't matter wether they flirted with someone, it doesn't matter if they've had sex with 5 or 50 people in their life. Rape is never their fault.
Some of you may remember when I was attacked back in Bath. It was terrible, it was awful, and it wasn't my fault. Some people thought it was. I was wearing tracksuit bottoms and a hoodie but it would not have been any less my fault if I'd been wearing a miniskirt and thigh highs ( I love thigh highs by the way, Kurt Geiger has some awesome ones at the moment - does that make me a slut? Very well then, I am a slut )
On 4th June I will be joining the Slut Walk London which is a protest against the blame culture that exists within society. I'll be dressing however the hell I want. If you'd like to sponsor me that would be great. Every donation will go directly to Rape Crisis UK to help them support those that have been assaulted, raped, and abused. They also carry out vital campaigning and lobbying work whilst trying to change peoples views on sexual violence. Basically, they're brilliant and I should've done this years ago.
So please dig deep and donate now.
