On the 14th July 2011 I am taking the challenge and getting involved! Flying to Kabubbu in Uganda to build and equip a maternity ward with the help of 30 of my students. Brave, ambitious and slightly scary indeed! Kabubbu is only 40 minutes drive north of Kampala, the capital, and will be a life-changing experience for all of us involved. The Quicken Trust is a Sussex charity working with the community to achieve its goal of self-sufficiency.  This is something I truly advocate. I need to raise the money to fund the cost of the trip and to donate generously to the Quicken Trust for the continuation and growth of the Kabubbu project. ALL the money collected goes directly to funding their projects. I’m sure there will be struggles and joys and with your help we can provide for a better future in a small but important way.
