Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am competing in my first Half Ironman next year at the local Wimbleball lake. Consitiing of a 1.2 mile swim in the lake, followed by a 56 mile bike ride and finally a 13.1 mile run. The Ironman UK 70. 3 is reputed as the toughest half ironman in the world.

This challenge is in memory of a family friend, Angela Hale tragically lost 7 years ago at the age of 23. Her family have organised a football tournament every year in memory of her and have donated thousands of pounds to local charities. Therefore, I have followed this kind and generous tradition by raising money for the League of Friends. This local charity supports Musgrove Park Hospital, where i work as a staff nurse in A&E.
