Story

Hello, I have worked for Pompey in the Community for 5 years doing business admin. I have seen the charity grow and get bigger and better each year. Pompey in the Community help thousands of people through out the city every year. It is a great charity to work for and I am really passionate about this project.

The Wheels For all project and I will be cycling with my team from Fratton Park, Portsmouth to Kingsmeadow, Kingstone (AFC Wimbledon Stadium). Starting on Friday 12th October and finishing on Saturday 13th, when Portsmouth play away at AFC Wimbledon.

Wheels For All is one of the 51 projects that Pompey in the Community run in Portsmouth and it's surrounding areas. Improving the lives of our participants through the power of sport, taking the beautiful game beyond the 90 minutes.

Wheels For All is a free programme for anyone who wants to cycle. With access to adapted cycles, anyone can experience the freedom of cycling, increasing their fitness, sociability and having fun.

The programme needs support to maintain the repairs and purchasing of new bikes as the program grows with its 300 participants a week.

This programme is ran by volunteers and relies heavily on public donations to ensure the future of the programme.
