Fundraising for WaterAid
Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
It is my great honour and delight to be participating in Sing for Water at the Thames Festival this year. This event features 800 singers joining together to raise funds for WaterAid. It is truly an inspirational event that demonstrates what happens when we join together and use our creativity to help others in need.
I'm fundraising to support WaterAid's projects in Ghana- where only £15 can give one person access to clean water for life.
For every donation of £15 and above I am offering a complimentary copy of my album Shiva's Rain.
My Story
Shocked to the core by the oilspill in the Gulf of Mexico, I released an album of music dedicated to water, Shiva's Rain in 2010.
I sang at Sing for Water at the Thames Festival in 2011.
This year I co-ordinated a concert, Ocean of Song which featured 180 singers performing specially chosen songs for water at St John at Hackney Church for World Water Day . The video of this event can be viewed at
