Story
I had already entered the marathon before we discovered Dad's cancer in May last year. He thought I was mad running marathons for a hobby, but I hear he was also a little bit proud of me too, which is nice.
A few of my lovely friends and family have asked what charity I'm running for so I thought I would set up this page to raise a few pounds for the Marston Green fundraising group for Marie Curie. Dad really enjoyed the few years he spent fundraising with this wonderful group of people since mum died and really valued their friendship. Their next target is to raise £10,000, the amount it costs to run the Solihull Marie Curie hospice for one day, in Dad's name so anything I can contribute towards this in donations would be fantastic.
