Hello, it's Katie here first of all thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

One in four people experience mental health problems. I have decided that I am going to take part in Mind's R.E.D January event. This means that am going to try and run everyday in January 2017 to raise as much money as I can for the charity Mind. Mind is a brilliant charity that raises the profile of mental health and supports many people. Mind is brilliant as they do everything they can to educate people on mental health and abolish the negative stereotypes and connotations that surround topic
of mental health.

Mental health is a topic very personal to me and I am going to try so hard to run as many miles as I can and raise as much money as I can to support this charity. I have a goal of £200 to raise and would be so thrilled if I could reach this, I am also going to try and run at least 50 miles over the month yet I will try for more. I would love to be supported with sponsors as this will give me the determination to get out of the house and run more.

In January 2017 I will also be on my last professional practice placement as a trainee teacher, my aim will be also trying to raise the profile of mental health within primary schools as it can happen at any age. I will try and get the school I am placed at involved by running for Mind too. I am very excited to get started on this event and I hope I can do all I can to support Mind.
