Story
Hi Guy's
For those of you who know me, will know that it has been a lifetime goal of mine to participate in the London Marathon ever since I was a little girl. I watched my godfather and many others cross the line with so much joy (and pain) on their faces. I knew then that I wanted that same feeling of acheivement.
I have tried for the past 4 years to get into the London Marathon and this year I have finally been accepted, I am proud to say I am running for The Royal British Legion, I think this is an excellent charity to be raising money for. If you do not know what the charity does then let me explain... The Royal British Legion safeguards the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces. They are one of the UK’s largest membership organisations and recognised as custodians of Remembrance.
My Grandad served this country and I would like to give something back to his memory and the men and woman that fought, so hard for us.
So I would like to say thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please please donate what ever you can I would really appreciate your help with this. The marathon takes place on the 25th April 2010, anyone that would love to come along and watch us cross that line is always very welcome.
Lots of Love Vanston xxxx
