GIVE IT UP FOR ONE25

One25 reaches out to women trapped in street sex work, supporting them to break free and build new lives away from violence, poverty and addiction.

I think we can all agree that this is an inspiring and life-altering organisation - so I'm aiming to do all I can to support it. You can help by sponsoring me.

Most people would agree that to be an artist, in any discipline, you have to practise every day. It's time I make productive creativity a habit of a lifetime. 

So if you choose to sponsor me, I must do the following eight things over the period of one week, (the number eight being the product of One + 2 + 5). Four of these things will be done daily, and four weekly, for the entire duration of the 125 days of this challenge. If I fail to complete any task, I must donate £1. The creative tasks are as follows:

DAILY

- Write a poem or short story.

- Read.

- Take a photo.

- Draw something.

WEEKLY

- Write a letter.

- Write a review.

- Perform a random act of kindness.

- Cook or bake something.

The challenge starts on the 4th of November, and runs for 125 days, finishing on the 8th of March (which, appropriately, is International Women's Day).

All of the results of my daily creativity will be posted on this purpose-built blog so be sure to bookmark it and keep tabs on me. The goal is £125 but the sky's the limit. Let's make it happen!
