Story

From 18th to 20th May 2012, Matt and I, along with colleagues of mine from All About Food will be undertaking the arduous task of cycling the 230+ miles from ‘Edinburgh to The Eagle (Manchester) over 3 days, in an effort to raise much needed funds for some amazing charities.

We have decided to raise money for The Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults. We first became aware of the charity when a teenager in my local village was diagnosed with brain tumor in her first year at university. The trust itself works to fund and build specialist units for young people in NHS hospitals allowing teenager and young people affected with this dreadful disease to come together, gain new friends and support one another.

So Matt and I have are now in training, putting in the miles ready for the big weekend! It is going to be tough but we are thoroughly looking forward to it and raising money for such a good cause.

If you have anything to give, big or small, please support this amazing charity with whatever you can.

Thank you from both of us xxxx
