London Marathon 2014 · 13 April 2014 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

No more ice creams allowed!

Despite having never run in my life, I have volunteered myself for the 2014 London Marathon!

It's going to be a hard few months of training, but I am determined to succeed in April.

I don't think I'll make it round in record time, but I'll try my best as it's all for a very worthy cause and an amazing charity, the NSPCC.

ChildLine Schools Service

All the money I raise will go towards the NSPCC ChildLine Schools Service.  Trained ChildLine Schools Service volunteers visit local primary schools to deliver empowering, age-appropriate assemblies and workshops to children aged 9 -11, helping children to understand abuse, giving them the confidence to talk about it, the knowledge to prevent it, and the courage to find help if they ever need it.

Your donations could enable the ChildLine Schools Service to reach many more children, empowering a generation and protecting them from the devastating effects of abuse.

£12 could help the NSPCC reach one child

£400 could help reach one classroom

£800 could help reach one school

So please, please sponsor me and donate whatever you can, no matter how small!  Every pound will make a difference - to spur me on and to support the NSPCC.

Thank you all!
